Welcome to Communications
Marysville School District is committed to providing a world-class education for every student. The Superintendent's office supports this important goal by fostering open, two-way communication with stakeholders and supporting school, family and community partnerships to enhance the quality of education for students.
Key elements of the district’s engagement, outreach, and communication program:
- Enhance communication, understanding, trust and mutual support between the district and the people it serves.
- Strengthen community relationships and interactions among staff, citizens, businesses, parents and students.
- Improve public participation in school activities and programs, including program design and decision-making..
- Promote understanding and cooperation between the schools and community groups, including neighborhoods; religious, fraternal and service organizations; labor associations and businesses; councils and political organizations; and other governmental agencies.
The office provides district information, produces district publications, posts to the district’s website and creates a social media presence using Facebook, Twitter, and other online platforms, manages media relations, coordinates volunteers and coordinates partnerships to support student learning.
