Meanwhile, at St. Martin’s University in Lacey, MG won a girls race while the boys were 19th.


FOOTBALL

M-P whipped MG in the Berry Bowl Friday 47-7 to improve to 6-0. Jordan Justice ran for 217 yards, scoring four times, and also caught a 20-yard TD grab from QB Jake Elwood. His TD runs were for 73, 3, 83 and 5 yards. Jay Gray added a 30-yard TD run and Lincoln intercepted a pass and scored from 15 yards. Caleb Blonk scored on a 1-yard run for MG.


VOLLEYBALL

MG fell to Everett last Thursday 14-25, 24-26, 26-28 and 9-15. Karragyn Heacock led the Chargers with 10 kills, 2 blocks and 5 digs. Kelsey Kolling had 8 kills and 13 digs. Courtney Taylor had 5 kills and 5 digs, and Kate Roberts 5 kills and 2 blocks. Hannah Hoscher set up the offense with 29 assists. She also had 9 digs and 2 service aces.


TENNIS

Meadowdale got by M-P 5-2 in a hard-fought match. Winners for the Tomahawks were Carson Asper 6-2, 6-7, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Trae Tingelstad at No.3 singles 6-7, 6-1, 7-5. Davis Magee at No. 4 singles lost in three sets, as did the No. 2 doubles team of Aaron Kalab-Treven Southard.

Meanwhile, the Chargers lost to Monroe 7-0 last Thursday. Nine games were won by Ryder Hurley-Kane Selapack at No. 2 doubles.


GIRLS SOCCER

MG blanked Mountlake Terrace Saturday 1-0. Last Thursday, the Chargers blanked Everett 4-0.
