This is a really exciting part of the year. District play-offs are in the air. Our swim team is sending 3 divers forward, MP boys basketball won the WESCO league. 

Our MG/MP wrestlers both boys and girls are doing well as they head to regionals. MG boys and girls' basketball teams are still positioning themselves for a district tournament run. 

We are just wrapping up the Winter season. We had 5 of 6 basketball teams in the playoffs. MG and MP are still playing. MP is playing for the District title tomorrow night and MG is playing a loser out tonight. 

Wrestling for boys and girls are at state this weekend as is our boys swim/dive team. We then will be off again for another season of excitement.

18 local wrestlers going to state – 4 as champions

M-P: at 132 pounds, Iakov Bondar was pinned to place fourth; at 145, Jesus Cabadas lost 9-3 to place second; at 160, Christopher Bonner won 2-1 to finish third; and at 170, Mauro Bejar was pinned to finish fourth.

MG: At 220 pounds Cheron Smith finished third by beating teammate Erick Duenes by injury default.
