Marysville Pilchuck High School Pool will be reopening 

August 17th 2020.

We will be open for Lap Swim from 1:00pm – 5:00pm Monday through Friday. We are not offering open swim, swim lessons, rentals, or water aerobics at this time. We will only be allowing six participants in the facility at one time. To reserve your lane space please call Marysville Pilchuck High School Pool at 360-965-2035 24 hours in advance. We are not accepting walk ins. We take the safety of our participants, staff, and community of the utmost importance in following all required guidelines.

Guidelines to know before coming to the pool

  • Lap Swims will be 55 minutes long, please exit promptly staff will need to sanitized each station used and get the next group in.
  • To Reserve your lane space please call 24 hours in advance at 360-965-2035 and you will be assigned a lane. We will not be taking walk-ins.
  • Enter in the North East main entrance and we will be using the south doors for exiting only.
  • You must be 13 and up to be able to swim.
  • Spectators are not allowed
  • Showers will be unavailable
  • Participants must wear a facemask when they entering the facility, Masks are not required while swimming.
  • Participants are expected to wear your swimsuits to the facility and bring your own towel.
  • We will no longer be providing equipment, you may bring your own and store it at the end of your lane.

COVID-19 Guidelines

Please cancel your reservation or do not make a reservation if:

  • A new fever (100.4 degrees or higher), or a sense of having a fever.
  • A new cough that you cannot attribute to another health condition.
  • New shortness of breath that you cannot attribute to another health condition.
  • A new sore throat that you cannot attribute to another health condition.
  • New muscle aches that you cannot attribute to another health condition, or that may have been caused by a specific activity (such as physical exercise).
  • Headache that you cannot attribute to another health condition.
  • Fatigue that you cannot attribute to another health condition.
  • New loss of taste or smell that you cannot attribute to another health condition.
  • Congestion or runny nose that you cannot attribute to another health condition.

  • Nausea or vomiting that you cannot attribute to another health condition.
  • Diarrhea that you cannot attribute to another health condition.
  • Have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and have not recovered or are still within the required 14-day quarantine.

WELCOME TO THE AQUATICS PROGRAM

3' deep preschool pool The Marysville School District Aquatics Program (pool) is located on the Marysville-Pilchuck High School campus. The pool is a school district and community pool that is open year-round. There are three separate sections of the pool:

  • 3' - 5' deep medium pool
  • 5' - 12' deep large pool which is 25 yards long with six lanes

Children 6 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult in the water – NO EXCEPTIONS

POOL RENTALS

Rent the Marysville-Pilchuck pool for an hour of swimming fun! The swim is followed by a half-hour on deck to have a snack and open gifts.

*The medium pool or wading pool can be rented separately for $40 each on Friday nights. Ask the pool office for details.

Open Registration

Open registration begins at 3 p.m. on specific dates and continues until classes are full or begin. You may come to the pool to register in person or call the pool using a Visa/MasterCard/American Express/Discover.

PRE-REGISTRATION

On the second to the last night of a lesson session you will receive a swim card for the current session. The card will contain information for placement of your child’s next swim lesson. You can go directly to the pool office to pre- register for the next session or if you elect to not register at this time please keep the card for future placement needs.

SHALLOW WATER CLASSES

Monday/Wednesday/Friday | 6 - 7 a.m.
This class is a combination of water aerobics and water walking. The program is designed to work at your own intensity level while engaging all the major muscle groups.

Tuesday/Thursday | 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Designed at a more accommodating low-intensity pace for those who are looking for rehabilitation or exercise that meets the needs of their lifestyle. Perfect for seniors!

Tuesday/Thursday | 7 - 8 p.m.
This shallow water class provides an invigorating workout designed to enhance flexibility, range of motion, and muscle balance using water movements that add more resistance than air.

DEEP WATER HYDROFIT© PROGRAM

Tuesday/Thursday | 7 - 8 p.m. This class uses buoyancy resistance equipment that conditions the cardiovascular system while developing muscle strength and endurance.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Marysville-Pilchuck Pool is accepting applications for swim instructors and lifeguards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15 years of age
  • Lifeguard Training Certificate American Red Cross
  • Any other certifications approved for lifeguarding in the State of Washington
