FAFSA

MARK YOUR CALENDARS SENIORS!

Legacy seniors and their families are invited to a Financial Aid (FAFSA) Information Workshop on Wednesday, October 26 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Legacy High School Computer Lab. This is an opportunity to learn about the variety of financial aid available, including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and how to access money to help students pay for their post high school education. Get help completing the application with representatives from Everett Community College.

Helpful items to have with you:

  • Student and parent Social Security number (it is essential that you enter it correctly on the FAFSA form!)
  • Driver’s license number if you have one
  • Alien Registration number if you are not a U.S. citizen
  • Federal tax information or tax returns including IRS W-2 information for student and parent and spouse (if married), if you are a dependent student:
  • FSA ID*

*It is strongly recommended that you create an FSA ID before attending this event to streamline the process. You can create your FSA ID online at studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. You can find more information on the FSA ID here: https://studentaid.gov/sites/default/files/creating-using-fsaid.pdf or by watching this video on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTb7hMVtzco. Completing this step prior to FAFSA Night will ensure you can get started on the application right away.

A light meal will be provided during this event. Please use this link to RSVP.
