MSD Senior Financial Aid Workshops ~ 2023-2024 Senior students and their parent/guardian(s) can attend any following informational sessions and workshops to learn more about the financial aid process and receive assistance with completing their student’s financial aid application, either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). Completing one of these applications is one of the most important things you can do to get money to help pay for college. It’s the only way you can apply for federal and state financial aid and will determine your eligibility for grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and student loans. For all sessions: Open to all seniors in Marysville School District Presentations & assistance offered in English & Spanish Financial Aid Info Session & Account Creation Workshop Tuesday, December 5, 2023 6:00pm to 7:30pm Marysville Getchell High School | E/F Commons This financial aid informational session is designed to inform students and families about the different types of financial aid available, the financial aid process, and how to prepare to pay for college. In the Lifetouch envelope, your student received a picture proof, Portrait ID, and Access Code unique to each student. Directions for ordering are attached. Exhibitions are coming up! Dec. 4th-7th, 2023 All students need to sign up and present their exhibition as part of their leveling-up/graduation requirements. With their advisor, students are expected to reserve their exhibition time slot during a time that works with their family/support system during this week. We encourage parents/guardians, family, mentors, and the community to attend the student(s) exhibition to support them in their learning and growth journey, to see how far they have come, and the amazing places they will be going.
