Dear Liberty Families,
We’re pleased to announce an exciting change coming to Liberty Elementary. School and district leadership have determined that Liberty’s Assistant Principal, Brian Tinsley, will transition to the role of co-principal alongside Principal Travis Hammond.
By embracing a co-principal model, Liberty will be positioned to enhance the efficiency of the services its talented teams provide to students, staff, and families.
A co-principal model is not uncommon when a school like Liberty undergoes significant changes, as it provides strong support for all students and staff on campus. This change is cost-neutral, responsive to the school’s current needs, and will enable each principal to have more direct and specialized oversight of specific programs.
Brian will begin working in this role effective immediately. We are grateful for his and Principal Hammond’s continued collaboration and their commitment to serving our students, staff, and families!
