Dear Class of 2025 Students and Families,
As we approach our upcoming graduation ceremony, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of our graduating students and their families. This milestone reflects years of dedication, perseverance, and growth, and we are proud to celebrate this achievement together.
Important! 2025 Commencement Guide and Class of 2025 Senior Activities
To ensure a respectful and unified ceremony that honors all of our graduates while also reflecting the diverse cultural traditions of our community, I’d like to share a few guidelines regarding what may be worn during graduation:
Permitted Items
School Provided: Honor cords, medals, stoles or other program recognition items.
Traditional Cultural Regalia: Cedar hat, beaded or feathered items (e.g., eagle feathers).
Flower Leis: Floral leis are a beautiful way to celebrate your student and are allowed.
Decorated Graduation Caps: Caps may be decorated in a school-appropriate manner that celebrates the student’s identity, achievements, and future plans.
Not Permitted during the Ceremony
Candy or Food Leis: For safety, sanitation, and consistency, candy or food items are not permitted as part of graduation attire.
Money Leis or Garlands: While we recognize this is a common gesture of congratulations, we ask that money not be worn during the ceremony.
We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us create a ceremony that is both dignified and inclusive. Should you have any questions or need guidance on appropriate attire, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
Thank you for your partnership, and we look forward to celebrating with you soon.
Best regards,
Keri Lindsay, Principal
