Dear Marysville Getchell High School Families & Students,
We hope that this letter finds you in good health and that you’re remaining connected and engaged in all of your classes. Please use this extra time to log onto Skyward, check your classes, and complete any missing assignments that you have before the end of the quarter on Friday. Most, if not all of your teachers have emailed you--please respond accordingly.
We are excited that registration for the 2021-2022 school year is upon us. Requesting your classes in Skyward is an important step so that you can ensure that you get the classes you want and need to meet your graduation requirements. Online registration is open from March 24 through April 2nd. If you do not select courses within that window of time they will be selected for you by your academic counselor.
Step by step instructions:
Take a look at the District Course Catalog for course descriptions
Review course request forms by incoming grade level (you keep this form): Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors
Review your current credits in Skyward Family Access (“Grad Requirements” tab)
Contact your counselor if you have questions about what you need to take
Login to Skyward (see instructions) and request courses. Save your requests.
Be sure to select three alternates when requesting courses.
You can edit your requests any time between March 24th and April 2nd.
**Please note** IEP classes for students who qualify for special education are entered manually by case managers and counselors. There is no need to select IEP related courses. You also do not need to sign up for an advisory class as those will be added later on.
