WORLD LANGUAGE COMPETENCY TEST REGISTRATION

 Hello MGHS Students and Parents/Guardians,

The World Language Competency Test (formerly known as STAMP) registration is NOW OPEN through November 30, 2022 .

This test provides students with an opportunity to earn up to 4 high school credits by demonstrating foreign language proficiency. Please note:  To sign up for this test, students must be proficient in the language for which they register in ALL areas: reading, writing, listening and speaking or comprehending and signing (for sign language). Students will be asked several self-assessment questions on the registration form. The attached document provides you with more information about the test and includes self-assessment questions to help students determine proficiency level: World Language Competency Based Credits Information.

Students, once you have determined you are proficient in the language in which you wish to test, please click on the following link to access the registration form: World Language Competency Testing Registration Form. Students must complete this form for themselves.

Testing will take place between January and February, with the exact testing dates to be announced soon. Depending on the language being assessed, testing will either be online, over the phone and/or a paper assessment. All testing will take place during school hours. Be sure to watch your email for testing dates and further information.
