MSD Athletics Update:
Today's high school swim meet against Monroe has been canceled due to flooding and weather conditions in Monroe. The MSD swim team will have a regular practice instead.
Monroe wrestlers will also not be coming to tonight's wrestling event at Marysville Getchell.
Tomorrow's Heritage Hawks basketball games in White Swan are also canceled.
The Marysville School District is aware that the recent influx of wet weather is impacting some members of our community and neighboring districts.
Marysville School District buses have so far been able to transport students to and from school safely. The MSD Transportation team expects that buses will continue to be able to pick up students safely tomorrow.
MSD Leadership does not anticipate any district-wide school closures or delays due to the weather, but will continue to monitor the situation overnight.
However, MSD schools are ready to provide flexibility with student tardies and absences for families who have been affected by flood road closures and evacuations.
Ultimately, our students' safety is our top priority.

Dear Families,
Getchell conducts monthly emergency safety drills to ensure students and staff know how to respond in the event of an actual emergency. These drills are an important part of keeping our school community safe.
Please note that some drills may occur outside of regular class times—such as before school, during lunch, or after school—to help students and staff practice responding in a variety of situations.
Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a safe and prepared school environment.
