Dear Marysville School District Families,
Our District is working with a local research firm called Center of Educational Effectiveness (CEE) to survey our parents/guardians and students in grades 5 – 12. In order for us to continue to improve as a school district and our individual schools, it is important for us to know how our parents/guardians regard the job we are doing in providing a quality education for all of our students. It is also important for us to hear from our students about how they feel about their educational experiences.
Parent/guardian surveys open Monday, April 1 and are accessible online in English and Spanish. Paper copies in multiple languages are also available at the Marysville School District Service Center. Your feedback is crucial for us to know what you consider our strengths and our opportunities for growth.
Age-appropriate surveys of students in grades 5 – 12 will begin after spring break. Students will access the survey link on their Chromebooks during designated class time. If you would like to review the student survey content prior to your child participating, please contact Shari Grover at (360) 965-0038 or email email@example.com. All students in grades 5 – 12 will receive the survey unless a parent/guardian chooses to opt out. If you do not want your child to participate, contact your child’s school directly on April 8.
The information that we receive will be reported back to us as District and individual schools building profiles. These profiles will provide us with information to support our District and school improvement plans.
To gather this information we are asking that you take about ten minutes to complete this very important survey. Click HERE to access the electronic survey or copy and post the following into your browser window: https://www.research.net/r/msvl-parent Please note: If you are a parent/guardian of an elementary-aged child, you may have been asked to complete a paper version of the survey last week during conferences. If you completed a paper survey you do not need to do the online version.
Thank you so much in advance for your participation! The online survey for parents/guardians closes April 26.
