The Marysville School District's Child Nutrition Services Director LaToya Morris recently presented the Marysville Community Food Bank with a $1000 donation for the Marysville Community Food Bank Food for Thought program. The Food for Thought program provides weekend meals for students and families in need.

Sodexo is the district's contracted management food services company. Annually, Sodexo offers the Stop Hunger grant opportunity across the United States. Only 20 community food banks are selected. This is the second time the grant has been awarded to Marysville in the past four years.

The Marysville School District is thankful for the grant opportunity from Sodexo and for our local community food bank for supporting students, families, and the community.
