Hello CMS Students and Families,
We would like to inform you that next week we will begin our Spring State Assessments on Wednesday, April 20th. These assessments will be taken online using student chromebooks. Testing continues into the month of May. Following are the specific testing dates:
English Language Arts (Grades 6-8): April 20-29th
Science (8th only): May 3-4th
Math (Grades 6-8): May 5-12th
Students will take their tests in their English, Math, and Science classes.
We highly encourage the following tips to help students perform their best on these upcoming assessments:
Before the Tests:
Be sure to get plenty of rest
Eat a healthy nutritious breakfast
Fully charge your chromebook
Have a positive attitude
During the Tests:
Be sure to pay close attention to the directions
Stay Positive and do your best
ALL cell phones and similar devices must be turned off and stowed away
