Student Athletes should review the following websites to learn more about recruiting rules, the NAIA Eligibility Center, the NCAA Eligibility Center, and the NCAA Recruiting Calendar. Here are some PDF flyers that might be of some help. NCAA Academic RequirementsNCAA High School TimelineNCAA Important Terms

COLLEGE RECRUITING

Many prep athletes aspire to play their sport at the college level. To be prepared for the recruiting process, student athletes must have the ability to play the sport and, more importantly, they must have the academic background to be a recruitable athlete. If you think you can play at the college level, it is important for you to make an appointment with your guidance counselor at your school so that you can develop an academic plan that will ensure that you take the courses necessary to be eligible at NAIA or NCAA member schools. Do not wait until your Junior or Senior year.

NCAA RECRUITING CALENDAR TERMS:

  • Evaluation Period - During an evaluation period coaches may attend off-campus activities to asess your academic qualifications and playing abilities. However, coaches may not have any direct contact with you.

  • Quiet Period - Coaches may make in-person recruiting contacts with you only on their campus.
