Free Meals Program Extended Good news for our students and families!

MG Families - Today marks the first day of our Continuous Learning 2.0 adventure! Thanks so much for all of your patience and efforts this morning! We know you all are trying so hard and we are here for you. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our office, your school counselor, or your teachers if you have any questions. Students should be logging into google classroom and email for independent work in the mornings and zoom for live instruction in the afternoons. Good News! Free Meals Program Extended! The USDA recently passed a waiver to extend the free meals program into the fall. This extension means that our school district will be able to continue to provide free meals for all children ages 1 - 18 and those enrolled in our online and 18 - 21-year old programs. This good news significantly impacts our program and the ways we can provide meal services for children. We had recently shared that the free meal program had ended and adjusted the way that meals would be available. With the new extension, we are now working on developing our meal distribution procedure for the start of school and into the fall. It will be different from the spring and the summer in some ways, but most importantly, we will be able to continue to provide free meals for children. Please stay tuned for more information in the coming days.

Class of 2020 Graduates & Families, Getchell's 2019-2020 yearbook has arrived!! We would like to welcome you to join us on campus to pick up your ordered book 8/27 & 8/28 from 9:00am-2:00pm. This event is for graduated seniors ONLY, all other students may pick up their yearbook during our back to school check-in days 8/31, 9/1, and 9/2... or from our cashier after these dates. *More information to come on back to school check-in soon* Safe distancing pick-up windows are as follows: Last name A-F 9:00am-10:30am, G-M 10:30am-12:00pm, N-Z 12:00pm-1:30pm. Pick-up ends at 2:00pm each day. Please drive through the student drop off loop by our E/F building and gym and remain in your cars - let us serve you! *Don't forget to bring your ID* If you cannot be present, your book will not be released to a friend or family member without a note giving permission for them to pick it up in your place. Not able to make it during these times? No problem! You may visit our cashier in the E/F building between the hours of 7:00am and 2:30pm after 9/2. Not to worry... if you didn't purchase one yet, there are still some available for $80 without ASB, $70 with 2019-20 ASB. Our cashier can accept cash, cards, or checks.
