Students across Washington state in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12 will take the Healthy Youth Survey Oct. 8-19. The survey includes questions related to physical activity and diet, unintentional and intentional injury, substance use, risk and protective factors and access to school-based services. Did you know? Absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year. Half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school. Make school #AttendanceEveryDay a priority in your family!
