Our Team:

Student Services provides students and families access to mental health resources and other community connections. On staff, we have two licensed Mental Health Therapists and three Student Support Advocates (SSAs) who team with school counselors and staff district-wide to help students and families with social-emotional learning, prevention, and interventions.

Our Mission:

To equip all students with prosocial and self-regulation skills to thrive at school and in all aspects of their lives to prepare them for their future. We use social-emotional interventions that will support students, staff, and families, along with creating a sense of belonging and community.

We Provide:

  • One-on-one check-ins through a referral system

  • Tier 3, crisis assistance and management

  • Resources for mental health, prevention of addiction, food, clothing, and other related services

  • Social-emotional lessons and skill building

  • Groups

  • Collaboration & planning for students with school counselors, administrators, community partners, and families

For Immediate Support, Call:

  • Providence Behavioral Health Urgent Care: (425) 261-4210

The Marysville School District continues to offer, free of charge, this widely successful training and certification. YMHFA provides easy-to-understand and interactive training that educates, informs, and de-stigmatizes issues related to mental health disorders. It also provides trainees with a practical plan and strategy to support an adolescent experiencing a mental health crisis. After successfully completing this course, trainees receive a three-year certificate as a YMHFA responder.
