Each year, we kick off the month of March with the “March Into Kindergarten” campaign signaling that it is time to register for school! Planning for the new school year begins now and early registration ensures families will get key information from their child’s school as the year progresses.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to register their children for kindergarten for the new school year as soon as possible.

Registering for school is easy and can be done in multiple ways. Parents or guardians will need to have their child’s birth certificate and immunization records as well as emergency contacts on hand when registering, and legal guardian paperwork, if applicable.  Children must be 5-year’s old by August 31, 2021.

Online registration is preferred, but other options are available including printed packets available in English, Spanish, and Russian.

  • Online: Go to www.msd25.org, click on Registration, or go to https://www.msd25.org/o/District/page/register-for-school

  • By Mail: Call (360) 965-0000 or email msd25@msd25.org to request a kindergarten registration packet to be mailed.

  • In-Person: Stop at your neighborhood school office or the school district Service Center located at 4220 80th Street NE, Marysville,  to pick up a registration packet. Masks and social distancing are required during in-person visits.

Entering kindergarten is an exciting time for children and their families. Taking care of registration early is an important first step.
