Allen Creek Elementary: This coming week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, we will be piloting a new attendance calling program at your school. If your child is marked absent, you may receive two separate calls about the absence. If you have a cell phone number in your child's electronic school records, you will also receive a text message. We are testing this new program now so that we are able to launch it at the start of the school year district-wide without issue. We are only testing Allen Creek at this time. Thank you in advance for your help and support. If your child is absent, and you receive multiple calls, I am interested in hearing about your experience with the new system call and text. Please send any feedback my way to jodi_runyon@msd25.org or call (360) 965-0005.

We are kicking off week 3 of Unity and Wellness Month by sharing the importance of healthy relationships. Creating boundaries is not a sign of secrecy or distrust — it’s an expression of what makes you feel comfortable and what you would like or not like to happen within the relationship.
