What?
Teachers and staff will be hosting ZOOM meetings so that students can “drop in” and say hi to past teachers and other adults who they know from school.
Why?
Connection is important for all of us so teachers and staff will be hosting Zoom rooms so students can “drop in” to say hello and reconnect with former teachers or other staff members they have been unable to connect with!
Where?
Every Google Classroom will have a list of Zoom links where students can join and “drop in” on teachers and staff to say hi!

Good News! Free Meals Program Extended
The USDA recently passed a waiver to extend the free meals program into the fall. This extension means that our school district will be able to continue to provide free meals for all children ages 1 - 18 and those enrolled in our online and 18 - 21-year old programs. This good news significantly impacts our program and the ways we can provide meal services for children. We had recently shared that the free meal program had ended and adjusted the way that meals would be available. With the new extension, we are now working on developing our meal distribution procedure for the start of school and into the fall. It will be different from the spring and the summer in some ways, but most importantly, we will be able to continue to provide free meals for children. Please stay tuned for more information in the coming days.

Hello 5th Grade Families:
Anyone who sold stuff for the Spring Fundraiser, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!
The order is being shipped to my house the first week of May. Once it is verified, I will contact families to let them know a date and time to swing through QCT to pick up their order. We will have tables set up so that families can just drive up and go!!
Anything that staff ordered, I will take out of the order and get to them personally!! Thank you all for your patience on this as I just found out about the new shipping arrangement last week!! =D
Any questions, please let me know via email!! My direct email is: heather_ferrel@msvl.k12.wa.us

Good evening QCT families:
QCT wants to make sure you feel connected and updated. Now might be a really good time for you to download our Marysville School District (MSD) app. to get updates from QCT as well as the district. Why should you download the app.? It's another communication platform outside of our QCT Facebook to keep our families connected, updated, and involved with immediate notifications through our MSD app. For example, 5th grade is starting to plan for their "virtual Pot Latch" graduation for 5th grade. We want you to have immediate updates, resource information to help support you, as well as not miss out on getting involved and planning for future events.
Here's some helpful directions to download the app.: Go to your App store on the iPhone or Android, search Marysville School District, download the free app, go to settings and select your school, the district, and other schools. Now you are set!!! Please share this email with other family members and friends that you want connected to QCT as well.
