Today is National PTA Sign Up Day! Join QCT's PTA here: https://www.memberplanet.com/packetview/quil_ceda_tulalip_pta/join Top 5 Reasons To Join PTA! 5. Participate at your own pace! It's a common misconception that joining a PTA means you have to dedicate time to volunteering. Not everyone has that capacity! The beauty of PTA is that your membership comes with no strings attached. You can be the most ardent volunteer or just attend one meeting a year. Your participation is valuable no matter what. 4. Savings! PTA members can take advantage of exclusive savings/discounts through selected vendors on our website. Many members make up the annual price of their membership via savings on car rentals, printing/copying, concert tickets, and vacation planning. 3. Community! We've all been there. After a week of only spending time with a six-year-old, it's good to get out of the house and interact with other adults! There are thousands of members across the state who can testify to the value of friendships built through their local PTA. 2. Better outcomes! We've seen time and time again that a strong PTA correlates to a strong school community. When parents are active and involved, their children thrive. You can help ensure your local PTA continues to be a community benefit. 1. Grow our voice! PTAs are, first and foremost, advocacy organizations. They are the conduit between parents and school/district administrators. On the state and national level, PTA volunteers speak with the voices of thousands upon thousands of members. And those voices grow louder and louder the more we grow our membership. We can have a HUGE impact if we stand together.
