Join Snohomish County Government and Forefront Suicide Prevention for a FREE community suicide prevention training on Monday, April 23 from 5:30 - 8:15 p.m. at the Snohomish County Administrative Building located at 3000 Rockefeller Ave, Everett, WA 98201. Learn how to look for warning signs, empathize and listen, make a direct ask, remove the danger and take the next steps.

AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination, is a kindergarten through postsecondary college readiness system designed to increase the number of students who enroll and succeed in higher education and in their lives beyond high school. The AVID elective class, which is offered at all of our middle and high schools, is intended to benefit those students who have the desire and potential to attend college but need additional academic and social supports. If you are interested in finding out more about AVID, we are having an Informational Night for parents and students TONIGHT, April 17 at 6 p.m. in the Board Room at the District Office. Come check AVID out!

The Marysville Library is hosting an after hours Poetry Slam THIS Friday from 7 - 9 pm! Teens from ALL local schools are invited! Bring a friend from A&T, Heritage, MG, MMVHS or MP and read poetry, write poetry, or just support those who do! See you there!
