Future Chef 2018 Sponsored by Sodexo USA was a big hit! A huge thank you to all the students, family members, community supporters and staff who came out to cook, judge, support and taste these students' yummy recipes! All the students who participated did an amazing job so it was a difficult competition to judge! Congrats to Kennedy O'Day, 5th Grader from Allen Creek Elementary who took Third with her Asian Shrimp Omelet, Cale Bennett, 3rd Grader from Liberty Elementary who took Second with his Chow Mein Chicken Salad, and finally, Our First Place Winner, Joshua Earnheart, 3rd Grader from Grove Elementary for his Chicken Cauliflower Fried “Rice” Recipe! Joshua will go on to compete in regionals and his recipe will be featured in the District's May lunch menu! Congrats to all for students for their hard work, great attitudes, and the fun evening they provided for all who attended!
