Msvl. WA - Marysville School District No. 25 will host its Native American Education Program yearly public hearing review for the 2021 - 2022 Title VI Grant on May 6, 2021, at 4:00 pm. April 19 - 23 is Public School Volunteer Week. We thank our dedicated parent volunteers and honor their contributions to our schools. From donating time to assisting with classroom and school activities, parent volunteers play an important role in our schools. Good Afternoon, Cedarcrest Families! We are so excited for the return to in-person learning through a hybrid model. In this message, you will find important information regarding what hybrid learning and continued distance learning will look like at Cedarcrest This week: 6th graders will return to school on either April 14 OR April 15 for 6th grade orientation. (They will only attend ONE of these orientation days, based upon their cohort group). Cohort HMW (Hybrid Monday/Wednesday) - Students will attend Wednesday, April 14th from 9:50-2pm, lunch will be provided Cohort HTT (Hybrid Tuesday/Thursday) - Students will attend Thursday, April 15th from 9:50-2pm, lunch will be provided On Fridays starting, April 16th through the end of the school year, all students will attend Office Hours from 8:00-9:30am, and TWolf check-in, required Zoom from 9:30 - 10:00am. Next Week: If your student is scheduled for Cohort HMW (Hybrid Monday/Wednesday), in-person classes for this group will begin April 19th from 9:50 - 2:00pm. Meal Information: The last day for meal service delivery for bus routes will be Friday, March 19. Meals for students not returning for in-person learning will still be available at each elementary school Monday - Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm (for all grades). Meals will not be provided during spring break (April 5 - 9) but will resume on April 12 at the elementary school sites. The community food bank is open and able to provide meal support where needed.

Attention CMS 7th and 8th graders who like drama and comedy: Auditions for Cedarcrest Drama Club’s spring play, “10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse”, will be held this Thursday and Friday, March 4 & 5. This play has been adapted for online performing, and will be pre-recorded for live streamed performances around the beginning of May. Auditions will be held through Zoom this Thursday from 10:00-11:00 am, and Friday from 11:00-12:00. To sign up, please complete the audition form linked here: Audition Form. Please join us for Family Engagement Sessions on the following days: 6th grade 11/19 from 2-3pm or 6-7pm 7th grade 11/23 from 2-3pm or 6-7pm 8th grade 11/24 from 2-3pm or 6-7pm Families will be receiving an email later today with Zoom links. (links are not listed in photos below) Family engagement week is November 19-25. Family Engagement week will take the place of our traditional Fall Conferences this year. There will be no zoom classes on November 19-25, however, students will still be required to fill out attendance forms in the Google classroom for each class, each day. These days will be Asynchronous learning days, which means students will complete their class work independently.
